Support during physical activity

In a 12-week, placebo-controlled study involving physically active adults with exercise-related knee pain, daily intake of 5 g FORTIGEL® peptides was investigated.

After 12 weeks, the FORTIGEL® group showed an average reduction in pain during activity of about 42% compared to baseline. The placebo group achieved significantly smaller improvements.

In everyday life, movement and training activities such as jogging, cycling, or strength training were associated with a lower perceived pain burden.

Skin elasticity was measured within the same clinical study over a period of 56 days using established biomechanical measurement methods.
